- Football - We will have a football game today against Joe T. Robinson at 7 pm. Spirit Theme this week is bikers vs surfers.
- Thespians of the week! Salina Sosa and Chelsea Cooper. Thank you for being role models for our theater.
- There will be a meeting in Room 131 today during Advisory for those interested in becoming part of the Future Business Leaders of America organization. Students need to self-enroll in the meeting through the RTI Scheduler.
- Today is the first day of National Hispanic Heritage Month! We celebrate (September 15 to October 15) to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success. The observation began in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a 30-day period. It was enacted into law on August 17, 1988, on the approval of Public Law 100-402.
