Announcements for September 27, 2023
For lunch today: Chicken quesadilla, baked beans, tossed salad, fresh fruit and milk.
- For breakfast tomorrow: Sausage roll up, fresh fruit and juice/milk.
- Football - We will have a football game Friday against Watson Chapel at 7. The theme for the game is Granny Day.
- Volleyball- JRVB has a game today versus Vilonia at 4:00 at DDArena.
- If you plan on bringing someone to the Homecoming Dance next Friday that is not a current MHS student, they must meet the following requirements:
- at least a 9th grader, but no older than 20.
- have a visitor form signed and returned to the office by Thursday, October 5.
- Homecoming Dance guidelines:
- * Time/Location - 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm @ the MHS Cafeteria
- * Cost $5.00 per person at the door.
- * All attendees are subject to the rules and regulations of Morrilton High School including, but not limited to those listed in our handbook.
- * No student or guest will be allowed to leave and come back once they have entered the cafeteria.
- There will be auditions for the fall play, Eurydice, October 2 from 4-7 and October 3 from 4-6. If you are interested in auditioning, please contact Ms. Hooten so you can fill out an audition form.
- Devil Dogs: let your voice be heard! Come out to Karaoke Night this Thursday the 28th from 5 pm-7 pm hosted by the Speech and Debate team for some fundraising, food, and fun! Entry is $1.
- Congratulations to our Thespian of the Week, Kiley Viveiros. Thank you for being a leader and mentor for our theater.
- The Band Boosters want to congratulate the Marching Band students and directors on their 2 Superior and 1 Excellent ratings at the Cabot Invitational Marching Contest this past Saturday (9/23). We are so proud of you and your hard work!
- There is no debate club meeting today.
- The MHS flu clinic will be on Tuesday October 10. Flu forms will go out during advisory classes. Additional copies will be available in the nurse's office. Please turn in all signed forms to the nurse prior to the clinic. There are also Spanish forms for any students who need them.
