Announcements for October 2, 2023
For lunch today: Cheeseburger on a bun with lettuce, tomato, and pickles, seasoned broccoli, fresh fruit and milk.
- For breakfast tomorrow: pancakes with syrup, fresh fruit and juice/milk.
- Football - We will have the Homecoming football game this Friday against White Hall at 7 at the DDStadium. The theme is Battleship, color of war.
- Golf- today and tomorrow the golf team will be playing in the Boyd State Golf Tournament.
- Volleyball- JRVB will be playing at LRCA at 4:30 today and will need to be released at 2:20.
- There will be auditions for the fall play, Eurydice, today from 4-7 and tomorrow, October 3, from 4-6. If you are interested in auditioning, please contact Ms. Hooten so you can fill out an audition form.
- The choir’s Fall concert will be Tuesday at 6pm in HB White. Free entry.
- FBLA dues of $13 should be turned in by October 4 to Mrs. Halbrook in room 131.
- The MHS flu clinic will be on Tuesday October 10. Flu forms will go out during advisory classes. Additional copies will be available in the nurse's office. Please turn in all signed forms to the nurse prior to the clinic. There are also Spanish forms for any students who need them.
- Boys basketball tryouts will be October 11th at 3:30
- Must have current physical
- No food will be allowed to be eaten in the classrooms during DDD or any of the periods that follow. If you are allowed to check out due to no classes scheduled at that time (seniors) you are welcome to return to the cafeteria to have lunch. Not returning to campus at the appropriate time is considered an unexcused absence and will be treated as such.
