Announcements for October 25, 2023

 For lunch today: Chicken quesadilla, baked beans, tossed salad with ranch, fresh fruit and milk. Another option is pizza.

  • For breakfast for Thursday: Sausage roll up, fresh fruit and juice/milk.
  • Football -  We will have a football this Friday against Mills at 7. Theme day this Friday is the Holidays and each grade will represent a different holiday.
    • 12th- 4th of July
    • 11th- Christmas
    • 10th- Valentines
    • 9th- Cinco de Mayo
  • Morrilton Bands Mattress Sale on Saturday, October 28th, 10 am - 5 pm, in the high school cafeteria! Invite someone and find a band member to help them on their band trips, fees, etc.
  • Conway Co Harvest of Hope food Drive is going on NOW. Please bring boxed macaroni and cheese to your 3rd period class and we will waive up to $1.00 of your library overdue fines. The class that brings the most by Oct. 30 will get a classroom Halloween party on Tues., Oct. 31!!!  Please bring boxes of Macaroni and Cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Here's your chance to win a jar of candy! Just come into the library and check out or renew a book, pay overdue fines, or return/pay for a lost book, and you can guess how much candy is in the jar. The person who guesses the closest will win the jar of candy on Oct. 31.
  • The Beta Club Haunted House starts THIS SATURDAY at 8:00 pm. Please come help Beta students pay for the State Convention. It will be $10 at the gate any night before Halloween.
  • It's time to celebrate Halloween and get your boo a bundle! Speech and Debate will be selling Boo Bundle orders during both lunches this week. The $5 Boo Bundles include Halloween candy, chips and a soda of your choice, and a spooky surprise. Bundles will be delivered during advisory on Halloween.
  • Karaoke night is tomorrow from 5-7! Entry is $2, but if you wear a costume, you can get in for $1! Come enjoy listening to spooky songs, hanging out with your friends, and eating yummy Halloween treats!
  • The MHS Blood Drive will be next Wednesday, Nov. 1st, in HB White auditorium from 9-2. If you are 18 or older you may sign up for an appointment to donate by scanning the QR code on the posters hanging around campus.  Donors will receive a long sleeve holiday t-shirt.  If you are under 17, you will need to have a guardian sign a permission form.  These forms can be picked up in the nurse's office.
  • Jostens will come Nov. 6th for senior presentation during DDD and again on Nov. 9th for Senior orders during both lunches.
