Announcements for October 30, 2023
For lunch today: Cheeseburger on a bun with lettuce, tomatoes & pickles, seasoned broccoli, fresh fruit and milk. Another option is pizza.
- For breakfast for tomorrow: Pancakes with syrup, fresh fruit and juice/milk.
- Football - JHFB has a game tomorrow at Russellville.
- Basketball- Basketball tips off Thursday evening with the Maroon and Gray games.
- All staff and students will report to the old gym on Monday during DDD for club pictures.
- Costumes may be worn Tomorrow, but NO MASKS and NO PJS will be allowed.
- We will line Poor Farm Road at the beginning of DDD tomorrow to send the band off to their State Marching Contest. Best of luck at State.
- Conway Co Harvest of Hope food Drive is going on NOW. Please bring boxed macaroni and cheese to your 3rd period class and we will waive up to $1.00 of your library overdue fines. The class that brings the most by Oct. 30 will get a classroom Halloween party on Tues., Oct. 31!!! Please bring boxes of Macaroni and Cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Here's your chance to win a jar of candy! Just come into the library and check out or renew a book, pay overdue fines, or return/pay for a lost book, and you can guess how much candy is in the jar. The person who guesses the closest will win the jar of candy on Oct. 31.
- The MHS Blood Drive will be next Wednesday, Nov 1st, in HB White auditorium from 9-2. If you are 16 or older you may sign up for an appointment to donate by scanning the QR code on the posters hanging around campus. Donors will receive a long sleeve holiday t-shirt. If you are under 17, you will need to have a guardian sign a permission form. These forms can be picked up in the nurse's office.
- Jostens will come Nov. 6th for senior presentation during DDD and again on Nov. 9th for Senior orders during both lunches.
- Congratulations to the MHS Dance Team for earning second place in the 1-4A Game Day Category at this weekend's dance competition held at Devil Dog Arena. Great job representing MHS!
- The Library Club will meet in the library on Friday, Nov. 3, during Devil Dog Development. If you are interested in joining Library Club, please come!
