Announcements for April 11, 2024

       For lunch today: Chicken drumstick, mashed potatoes, carrots, wheat roll fruit and milk. Additional option is pizza.

       For breakfast tomorrow: Cereal, graham cracker, fruit, and juice/milk.

       Prom tickets are on sale during the first and second lunch. The cost is $25

       Ticket price includes a meal.  Chicken and steak with sides and dessert. As well as Admission to the dance.

       Prom Guest pass is now available in the office and is due back April 25. The guest pass must be approved by administration before tickets are bought.

       April is School Library Month and National Poetry Month. Come to the library for some library- and poetry-related activities like Mad-Lib Poetry, library crossword puzzle, Book in a Jar, and much more. Stop by the library to see if you can guess the Book in a Jar for your chance to win a prize.

       Design your own bookmark for your chance to win a prize. Come to the library for an entry from. All bookmarks are due by April 26.

       Seniors, be sure that your cap and gown is ordered to be here in time for graduation. Come talk to Mrs. Huett if you haven’t ordered.

       Sophomore ring presentation 4/15/24 during DDD and orders will be 4/18/24 during lunch periods.

       Congratulations to Shiloh McDonald for being our Thespian of the week.  Shiloh has such a fun and engaging personality.  Thank you for being an example of an exceptional thespian.

       Don't miss Shiloh as Mrs. White in our upcoming play Clue on Stage.  April 25, 26 and 28 in HB White Auditorium.

       The Spanish/LSA Club is collecting eclipse glasses to send to Latin American children so they can enjoy the August 2024 eclipse safely. We have a basket in the office.

       Volleyball tryouts are April 30, May 2,7, 9,14,16 at 3:45-5:00 in MHS safe room. Open to girls in current 8th-11th grades. Contact Coach Lawless for more information.

       For those currently in FBLA or those wanting to join Future Business Leaders of America next year, please sign up for the FBLA meeting on Friday, April 12, during Advisory.  The meeting will be held in Room 131, Mrs. Halbrook's room.

       Mock trial will be on Friday during first period and seniors will get on a bus to be transported to the location of it.

       Pie-a-teacher in the face results are in!

       Receiving a pie tomorrow will be:

       Mr. Parks in 2nd place and Coach Spark in 1st place!

       One other lucky teacher’s name will be drawn at the event. We will draw one ticket for each teacher and see who gets to throw the pie.
