Announcements for April 23, 2024
● For lunch today: Cheeseburger, oven fries, tossed salad, fruit and juice. Additional option is pizza.
● For breakfast tomorrow: Breakfast burrito, fresh fruit and juice/milk.
● Prom tickets are on sale during the first and second lunch. Last day to buy prom tickets is Thursday April 25th.
○ Ticket price includes a meal. Chicken and steak with sides and dessert. As well as Admission to the dance.
○ Prom Guest pass is now available in the office and is due back April 25. The guest pass must be approved by administration before tickets are bought.
● Don't forget that Friday is the last day to submit your bookmark for the contest and to guess the book in the jar!
● Seniors, be sure that your cap and gown is ordered to be here in time for graduation come talk to Mrs. Huett if you haven’t ordered.
● Congratulations to Lakeyn Billing, our thespian of the week. Lakeyn is a talented artist who uses her gifts to create beautiful designs for our plays. Don't miss Lakeyn's wonderful set design in our production of “Clue on Stage" April 25, 26 and 27th in the auditorium. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
● Volleyball tryouts are April 30, May 2, 7, 9, 14,16 at 3:45-5:00 in MHS safe room. Open to girls in current 8th-11th grades. Contact Coach Lawless for more information.
● A big round of applause for junior Lakeyn Billing for clinching the third position along with an honorable mention in the prestigious 2024 Congressional Art Competition with her captivating Capybaras piece. Let's also give a hearty congratulations to sophomore Didier Velazquez whose remarkable pen and ink portrayal of St. Francis has earned acceptance into the esteemed 63rd annual Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition. Way to go, Lakeyn and Didier! Your talent shines bright for all to see.
● FCA will hold a Prayer at the Pole event this Thursday, April 25, at 7:30 am at the flagpole in front of the school. Please come and be a part!
● Beyblade club will meet this Friday during Devil Dog Development in Mrs. Mobley's room. You must sign up in RTI scheduler.
