  • Congratulations to everyone who guessed the book in a jar correctly. Grant Pruitt's name was drawn from everyone who guessed the book was Holes. Congratulations to Lakeyn Billing, winner of the bookmark contest. Her bookmark will be made available in the library. Grant and Lakeyn can come to the library for their prize. 

  • Volleyball tryouts are April 30, May 2, 7, 9, 14, 16 at 3:45-5:00 in MHS safe room. Open to girls in current 8th-11th grades. Contact coach lawless for more information.  

  • Seniors who are interested in interviewing with TOLM Group on Wednesday, May 1 for an entry level position in the construction field must submit a resume to Mrs. Jasmine Wilson by noon on Tuesday, April 30.  Interviews will be conducted at school on Wednesday morning by TOLM's Director of Human Resources. 

  • The MHS Career Fair will be held from 11 am until 1 pm on Wednesday, May 1, in the old high school gym.  Students will be able to visit with employers and MHS CTE groups during lunch or Advisory. 

  • A big round of applause for junior Lakeyn Billing for clinching the third position along with an honorable mention in the prestigious 2024 Congressional Art Competition with her captivating Capybaras piece. Let's also give a hearty congratulations to sophomore Didier Velazquez whose remarkable pen and ink portrayal of St. Francis has earned acceptance into the esteemed 63rd annual Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition. Way to go, Lakeyn and Didier! Your talent shines bright for all to see
