Senior composite pictures will be taken on November 20th. This will be for the students who did not have them made earlier and also retake.
The speech and debate team will be selling Boo Bundles from this Wednesday, the 23rd, to the 29th during both lunches. Get one for your bestie, favorite teacher, and your boo! The $5 bundle includes chips and a drink of your choice and a spooky surprise; the $2 option includes a bag of candy. Bundles will be delivered on Halloween during Devil Dog Development.
FBLA is selling 50/50 Raffle tickets for $1 each during lunch through Thursday. The lucky winner will get 50% of the funds raised. Tickets will also be sold at Friday night's football game.
Congratulations to the 9th grade Quiz Bowl Team for their winning record of 5-2 at the Maverick Invitational Tournament held Saturday. Special shout out to Logan Viveiros and Lily Trauth who placed 10th & 13th respectively out of 169 students participating.
Beta members that are wanting to attend the State Beta Convention need to make their first payment of $50 by this Friday, October 25th.
Congratulations to senior Maya Lozano for being named a finalist in the Arkansas Peace Week art contest! Her powerful artwork will be showcased at the Arkansas State Capitol. Way to go, Maya, for creating a piece that shines a light on building lasting peace in our community!
Debate club meeting today at 3:30.
Our League of Legends Maroon team beat Wynne to become the only undefeated team in Arkansas at 5-0. We are the 1 Seed in the state.
Congratulations to the MHS Band for receiving an Excellent rating at the Region 9 Marching Assessment in Russellville on Tuesday, October 22nd! We look forward to our performance at State!
Speech and debate will be in tournament at Bigelow today.
Junior High Football will play at Cabot South today. They are to be released after 8th period.
We will have a pep rally tomorrow during DDD. The theme will be pink out.
Dawg Trax Video Production in cooperation with a public relations firm will be filming tomorrow's pep rally. The videos and images might be used in promoting our school in the future. Let's have the best pep rally ever!
