Literary March Madness starts on March 4th! Use the Google Form you'll receive in your email to vote on the daily match-ups. The bracket will be updated on the library bulletin board daily. Voters will be entered into a prize drawing.
MHS Has Talent is coming soon! Entry forms for the talent show are in the library now and are due by March 14. Ask Mrs. Grendell or Mrs. Parks for more information.
Seniors: Mrs. Huett has a new list of seniors who have ordered their cap and gown. If you are not sure that you are on the list, please check with her ASAP!!
Have you got Spirit? We want to hear it! MHS Cheerleader, Dance Team and Mascot tryouts for the 2025-2026 school year are now open for signups. All students in grades 9, 10, & 11 will receive an email with sign up information. Last day to sign up is Wednesday, March 12th. If you have questions, email Coach Rogers (shawnya.rogers@sccsd.org) for cheer and/or mascot or Coach Edwards (angela.edwards@sccsd.org) for dance. Tryouts will be held the week of March 17-21. You will receive more information once you sign up.
The MHS FBLA students are hosting a pickleball tournament to raise funds to compete in the State FBLA Leadership Conference. The pickleball tournament is on Saturday, March 22, at the city pickleball courts. Registration forms and money are due by Sunday, March 16. We would appreciate your support!
Students and teachers: Wonder what we do in EAST? Come see for yourself on Thursday, March 13th. Drop in from 3:30 until 6:30 pm to learn about the projects we have been working on and see the technology we have available.
Need more community service hours? Join MHS and MJHS Beta Club Wednesday, March 12th, to do a trash pickup around our schools! We will meet in the Junior High Cafeteria right after school and you will need to be picked up from the Junior High parking lot at 4:25. Please let Mrs. Parks know if you would like to attend.
Pie a teacher or administrator in the face! Bring your change and bills to both lunches to vote on which teacher or administrator gets a pie to the face on Friday! 1 cent equals 1 vote. Bring your math skills, too! Students who get to pie teachers in the face will be determined by whoever wins the math games provided by the math club!
Congratulations to Bailey Urie and Salina Sosa, winners of the Literary March Madness voting for Friday! You can get your prize in the library.
Baseball JV will play Ozark at home today starting at 5:00.
Softball will play Pottsville at home today starting at 4:30.

After a rigorous application process, our very own Aarya Patel was chosen to be the TEDED Keynote speaker for this year's Innovation Rally put on by the Office of Innovation. This position is given to only ONE student in Arkansas!! If you see her today, be sure to give her your congratulations!
We will dismiss at 11:30 Friday for the championship basketball game in Hot Springs.
