Conway County is in an Ice Storm Warning. Due to the unpredictable nature of ice and out of an abundance of caution for our students, our students’ families, and our staff the SCCSD will use an AMI Day and be closed to onsite learning on Tuesday, January 31st.
Due to the forecast of ice and the unpredictability of the impact on travel, the SCCSD will release early today, Monday, Jan. 30th at 2:00 p.m.
Please be safe and watch for an announcement about tomorrow.

Jan. 26th Calendar of Events:
The SCCSD will resume classes on Thursday, 1/26. Bus 77 will not run up on Petit Jean Mt. tomorrow morning. The bus will meet parents at the base of the mountain between 6:40 - 7:00 a.m. Bus 77 parents should evaluate their roads conditions and determine what is safe for their family. The SCCSD will understand if some students on bus 77 are not able to attend due to hazardous road conditions.
Thank you to the SCCSD bus drivers for safely transporting our students home during the unexpected snow storm at the end of the school day!
Jan. 25th Calendar of Events:
AMI Day 1 -Wednesday, January 25
Teachers will offer Zoom meetings with students according to the following schedule:
Math 8:00-8:30
Fine Arts 8:30-9:00
English 9:00-9:30
Foreign Language 9:30 - 10:00
Science 10:00-10:30
CTE 10:30 - 11:00
Social Studies 12:00-12:30
Teachers will use this time to meet with students to explain and assist students with the assignments posted in Canvas.
Due to the unpredictability of the winter weather forecast and out of an abundance of caution for our scholars and staff, the South Conway County School District will utilize an AMI Day for Wednesday, January 25th.
There will be no onsite school tomorrow, January 25th.

An SCCSD team of administrators is watching the weather forecast very closely. The SCCSD wants you to know that the district will make a decision that will always maximize the safety of our scholars and staff.
The South Conway County School District will dismiss early at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25th for Teacher Continuing Education.
