Fall 2024 Essential Links for Seniors

It is time to start planning for the next year of school and student success.

Below are some documents to share the many opportunities that are available. On Tuesday, Feb. 27, Mrs. Squires and Mr. Schneider will be meeting with all 9th and 10th grade students to discuss their opportunities for next year and take their requests. Later in the week, Mrs. Squires will be meeting with the juniors as a group and then schedule individual meetings for their course planning. Please help to share this information!

Tasseltime: We are very excited to have Tasseltime access for all MHS students. This is an amazing tool, especially for seniors, to be able to access a ton of information in just one place. Go to: Tasseltime.com. All MHS Students may access this.

KUDER Career Planning:This career planning tool is available at https://arkansas.kuder.com/landing-page - You will create an account and use the Navigation Code: N6537385AJC This tool will allow you to search all colleges and careers and create a portfolio of information. We highly encourage you to use this search tool and please see us with any questions.

*Arkansas Course Transfer System: You may go to their website to obtain information about the transferability of courses within Arkansas Public colleges - For example: Will something I take at UACCM transfer to UCA?

* ACT Fee Waivers are available in the counselor's office. Students are allowed to use a total of 4 of these waivers during their Junior and/or Senior year. Students who received Free or Reduced Lunch prior to 2016 (before the entire district was free) will qualify. Let us know and we will be glad to check your status.

* Students must register online at www.actstudent.org . You have to upload your photo for the admission ticket   On the day of testing you are required to bring BOTH an acceptable photo ID and copy of your admission ticket with photo ID on it. If you do not have a photo ID please see Mrs. Morrow in the counselor’s office and she will make you one.

The ACT Code for Morrilton High School is: 041-710.  Test Center Code for Morrilton High School is: 198770.

*Accuplacer: Test is on-line and untimed; it is given at UACCM at the following times:

Monday – Friday

9 am and 1 pm

Please call 977-2060 to schedule your appointment

*This test can be used for admission and scholarship into UACCM in place of the ACT; however, not all colleges accept this test for admission. Cost: $15 or $5 per section of the test

To meet admission requirements, you must take the ENTIRE test at least one time.
