The District Administration has been out checking roads this afternoon. Many roads are in very good condition.
For the safety of our students, staff, and families, South Conway County School District will delay the start of school by two (2 ) hours to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025. This delay will allow for improved travel conditions in the morning.
There will be some modifications to bus routes, which will be communicated later this evening. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure a safe return to school.

With freezing rain and sleet already impacting our area and additional winter precipitation in the forecast, the South Conway County School District will cancel school for Wednesday, February 19, 2025. The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our top priority, and current conditions make travel hazardous.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to monitor the weather. Please stay safe.

Due to the latest forecast and current weather models, SCCSD will err on the side of caution and cancel school for Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority, and with the potential for hazardous winter weather, we believe this is the best course of action.
The SCCSD appreciates your understanding and patience as we make decisions with everyone's well-being in mind. Please stay safe, and we will provide any further updates for Wednesday, February 19 tomorrow afternoon.

The South Conway County School District is closely monitoring the weather models for Tuesday, February 18, 2025, as they develop for Conway County. While forecasts are not always perfect, we are assessing the latest updates to determine the best course of action for our schools.
If winter weather arrives earlier in the day on Tuesday, February 18, than expected, an early dismissal may be necessary. Any decision we make will be guided by our commitment to maximizing the safety of our students, staff, and families. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will communicate any decisions as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and trust as we navigate the weather conditions together.

Students in grades 7-12 will be admitted free to tomorrow night's basketball games against Robinson.

Because of continued forecast for winter weather on Tuesday, Varsity Basketball games vs Robinson will be played TOMORROW (Monday) night! 5pm JV Boys, 6pm start for Varsity Girls! We will do senior night ceremonies in between the games. Please come out and support our teams!
